  1. just got the letter (fax) from DG offering me the full settlement just before i sent the QA form off to the courts £1,134.55 on it's way Would like to say a very big thank you to all the people that gave me advice and kept me going,to all of you that are just starting to take on the HSBC stick with it and stick to the time scale and plan cos it works when the money comes will make a donation to keep this site running to help others

    it's not the full amount they are offering just found out that they have charged me again on my account £91.78 which has not been added to the claim.going to write a letter telling them the amount i am claiming if i don't receive the full amount i will carry on with the claim

    sorry forgot to ask what do i do if they offer the full amount there is something i have to sign about "keeping my claim and HSBC's ex gratia payment strictly confidential"could do with the money but don't wanna sell my self short

    got home today have letter from DG an offer of £1,063.55 this incules all refunds of all charges interest at 8% and £80 court costs having filed a claim for £1,117.24 +court costs £80 do you think they are holding back with some money they owe me

    Just logged on with mcol and they have entered a defence so i can no longer do any more online! hopefully this is when they send me the information about moving to a local court and this AQ thing :? hopefully other people have had this done to them:confused:

    it was served on the 21st nov will that mean that the 28days is on the 18th dec??

    just one more thing do i have to do anything with i claim which i done online with MCO as the 28days are coming to end and i have not heard anything from them since the letter of "notice that acknowledgment of service has been filed"came back if i am to include weekends the 28th day is up on the 18th DEC Monday

    had a "notice that acknowledgment of service has been filed" and the hsbc have ticked "i intend to defend all of this claim" it was dated 21st Nov 06 they have 28 days to file a defence now is there anything i have to do regards to my claim:idea:

    all in the post now i have a had a "Acknowledgment of service" back and DG Solicitors (Deborah D'Aubney) have said they intend to defend all of this claim i hope i not have to go to court hopefully this is what they do to scare me off

    just got my self-help kit for the small claims court:D is it worth it to ring the HSBC and ask for the money they owe me ( have sent two leters last being "before action")just in case they want to sort things out:rolleyes:or do i just fill out the forms and send to the courts

    hi all, Just had my letter from the hsbc saying that they "don't agree with the contention that the charges that have been imposed by the bank constitute a penalty clause or that they are in any way unlawful and they advised me that the oft report of 5th April concerned charges payable on credit card accounts only" I sent the first letter off and now had this one back, i am about to send the LBA letter hopefuly this will work before court action neil

    Hi all, New to this and thought i would say Hello Have sent letter to HSBC about a week ago got a letter back the same old thing "we will be looking into it" so i've just got to wait till the 14 days is up then the next stage of my quest for a full refund of £870 in charges well here's living in hope neil
