  1. Thanks to both of you. I don't think I'll take it to the bank, I don't trust them! lol! I'll send it to that address.
  2. I've finally got around to sorting out my SAR letters, weeks after finding this forum! I am a bit confused though, and can't seem to find the answer elsewhere. To get a list of my charges/copies of statements, do I send the SAR letter to my local branch, or to the main contact listed for Barclays: BARCLAYS BANK PLC 1 CHURCHILL PLACE LONDON E14 5HP And just to save multiple posts in other places - is it the same rule for all banks/credit card companies, or do they differ? Thanks
  3. Thanks! I have just printed off the step-by-step instructions, even though it took an hour, gah at my computer. (*Mental note - head to PC World when I get my money back...!) I have read them through at the same time, and I understand what you mean by having luck just finding this site. If I'd tried to do this by myself, I would probably have given up at the first standard letter from the bank/credit card company. I see you've got a few claims in the process - good luck for them. Although as you've already said, you don't need luck now
  4. Hi, another newbie here! I have just discovered this site tonight, after following a link from the BBC Radio 2 forum. I'm intending to pursue claims with MBNA myself, and help my girlfriend claim from HSBC and Capital One. I am off to start working my way through all the help and support on here. I am amazed by this website, I thought that all I would be able to do is write a few snotty letters to the banks and get nowhere!
