  3. Just wanted to let everyone know that the charges have been worked out (£2,110) and the letter (Preliminary Letter) is going tomorrow by recorded mail. Also wanted to say thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this forum and for all the support everyone gives each other. The bu**ers will keep trying to get away with it till they realise thast the people they are pi**ing off are the ones that pay their wages! Good luck to everyone else and wish me luck! Will try to keep this thread updated.
  4. Point taken! Have found the speadsheet from Vampiress and looking at that now! Andy
  5. Thanks for getting back to me. I had been lurking on here for a while before starting but it has been a while since I was last here. Since then it has changed site and in my view become more difficult to use! But hey that may just be me! Thanks again and I will have a look for the stuff you mentioned. Kind regards, Andy
  6. Hi, I am confused as to what I put on the preliminary approach letter. In the section of the letter where it says: What I require I calculate that you have taken £XXXXX plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £XXXXX What do I put in the overdraft interest section? (£XXX) Do I put in the interest they have charged me (which I would have to work out from my statements) or do I put in the interest I can charge them according to the spead sheet? Or is it something different again? If someone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks Andy
  7. Hello everyone. Would like to say thanks for this website and everyone on it for giving me the guts to start down this track! I have one question. I have gone through all my charges for the last few years online and there are a few distinct groups of charges. These are: Overdraft Excess Fee Overdraft Interest Unpaid Direct Debit Unpaid Standing Order Account Charge I realise that being a Gold card customer I can't claim for the Account charges (I do have to admin to agreeing to those charges!) but what else am I able to claim for? If someone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks again. Andy
