Hi Bookworm, The 'Getting Something sorted by Christmas' was a wishful thinking comment, I didn't even know I could even make a claim for it until I came across this site, so good things come to those that wait, its a good job I have lots of patience! lol

Being a single parent is tricky, I have lots of respect for those that are, as I know how hard it is, but its even harder when money is tight & you are getting ripped off by banks. I have been with Abbey for 2 years, & so far that have charged me 385 pounds in overdraft charges, 120 of that was in 1 day! I am still missing 6 months worth of statements, so there could be more. Action taken: Day 1 3rd Oct 2006 sent SAR I will keep you all posted, & any advice is most welcome! Best wishes, Lesley

Today is the first day of empowerment! Have been a Barclay's customer for atleast 8 years & I want to know exactly how much they have ripped me off. Day 1 Sent SAR letter - 3rd Oct 2006 Having spent the last 2 days reading through the facts, I feel I have the confidence to ask for my money back, with interest! I would have never known about it, if it was not for this site, a big thank you to everyone who contributes in anyway.... Hopefully, I'll manage to get something sorted for Christmas...
