Urgent Attention Please Read - Claims in Scotland
nelliedean replied to Bigmac versus's topic in Scotland Banks & Finance
just a theory, but do you think ,if (as I did), 1 person makes a claim on a joint account, then the other person could then make a claim, this would surely negate any claim spitting as each person is claiming what they feel is owed, this might be useful for people who are claiming on joint accounts, I know that when I claimed I only put my own name on the paperwork. Again, just a theory.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any legal eagle advice would be welcome! -

sorry big mac, wasn't very clear, last claim was summary cause and they settled before prelim hearing, this time(2nd claim) prelim is on 14/03/07 and full hearing 21/03/07 and not a word from them, started panicking after reading your case with CB and considered dropping this (2nd) case and just going McColl if that would help me, cos I still have £5000 to go!!!!!!!!! any advice would be welcome as you guys got me this far......... -

thank you Caro, will have to hold my nerve a little longer I think, if as I suspect, the other banks grab on to this as a way of getting our claims thrown out, would it still be feasible to claim using the McColl or would the same precedent work for them with that claim in england? -

hi, panicking now as i have a prelim date of 14/03/07 and court date of 21/03/07 this is my second summary cause with bos, first 1 paid into my account before prelim, wondering if I should bin this claim and go through McColl now as i have around £5000 left to claim, does the CB ruling prevent me from claiming in 2 jurisdictions? or would that help? anyone know what would be my best course of action? too much of my money to walk away from, but having made 1 claim already am scared to get this wrong! any help would be appreciated............ -
hi, i called bos today regarding statements and insisted they send them via internal mail to my branch, she went 1 better and faxed all 144 pages to my branch there and then, tying up their fax machine for over an hour, hee hee:lol::lol::lol:
