  1. Quick Update ... Just lodged another claim through moneyclaim.gov.uk - Nationwide don't seem to want to pay out until you show them you are willing to take them to court. They could have made it easy on themselves .... but no - they've got to do it the hard way.
  2. I've just had a look at the claim and it does list one my accounts but not the other. Could they be right?
  3. They basically said that I have to submit to court claims, one per account, and that is the only way they'll pay. How did you do it?
  4. Hi All, First post here so I'll give you a little background on my case. August 2006 - sent off first letter asking for the charges to be refunded using the template off this website. - Got a letter back from Nationwide telling me that the bank is open about the charges so they won't pay. October 2006 - sent off 2nd letter asking for charges again with threat of court action (using the templates here). - Got a letter back from Nationwide telling me that the charges are advised to members and perhaps it might be better if I banked elsewhere. Cheeky &%^$& ! January 2007 - Begin legal proceedings using moneyclaim.gov.uk using information from moneysavingexpert.com and this website (thanks!). I claimed for a total of £350 plus £50 legal expenses. - Nationwide respond to court claim by advising that they intend on defending the claim. They now have 28 days from the start of Feb to respond. THEN, out of the blue they credit my account with £110 - well short of what I'm asking for. Having just spoken to them now, they've advised me that they only look at one account per claim and that I'd need to go through the claims court process again to claim back the fees for my other account. Wish me luck .....
