  1. Hi Todge, Can you ellaborate on AQ and where I can find this response info you mentioned. Regards,
  2. Hi, Following recent County Court claim being logged, I have received an Acknowledgement of Service, completed by Cobbetts stating that they 'intend to defend all of this claim'. I take it that this is standard response so that they can take advantage of a further 28 days grace. Is there anything that I need to be doing in the meantime or is it a case of sitting tight? Cheers,
  3. These are exciting times, I have just embarked on this stage having made claim on-line this evening. There are a lot of experienced people on the forum, have a read-up as advised and post your enquiries to fill in any gaps. You'll get all the help you need. All the best and look forward to reading about your success.
  4. Hi All, Just wanted to let you know that I have just completed my on-line claim via Money Claim site for £3430.47 inc 8% + court fees. A day later than expected but done none the less. It has been really inspiring to read of the many of you all doing the same and piling up the pressure against the various establishments. KEEP IT UP!! From the sounds of it their systems are starting to struggle with the rising tide of adversity from within the masses; Let us take a moment to reflect on not just the refunding of charges that we seek but also the mounting man hours/associated additional costs that they are having to bear (plus a likely uptake in Beta Blockers)with each additional claim being presented. Will update soon. Cheers, madvillain 'Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close up the wall with our English dead!' Henry V
  5. Refreshing responses. Thanks Nattie for bringing clarity to the matter. I will be filing claim for court action after close of play tomorrow!! Cheers,
  6. Hi all, Having sent 2nd letter stating 14 days or court action, I heard zip until Friday when I received a fairly generic response letter, it merely stated that they 'have been very busy (well done everybody!)...will be in contact ASA'. Their 14 days is up by close of play tomorrow (Mon 22/01/07), my synical gut-feel is that they are stalling and feel inclined to press on with court action, unless someone has an alternative view. Cheers,
  7. Welcome Glasgowceltic, It does feel like venturing in to the unknown but that's the way the banks have made it in their favour by trying to make us feel like we have deserved these charges. With regard to your account not looking so good, lets face it, if they didn't thieve from us in the first place we'd all look a little healthier. The buzz starts once you make that initial move and you know that the bank has got first wind of what you are planning and from then on the clock's ticking for them. I'm no veteran here and have only just started myself but having just totted-up nearly £2.9k from statements I've received, I'm well and truly up for getting back what's rightfully mine!! Maroon's right, there is a lot of info and willing support available, so dig in and sit tight! If you are worried about what the bank may do, get in the driving seat and explore getting another account with an alternative bank, most are quite keen to get your business especially if you can be bothered to let them take an hour of your day to try and sell you all sorts of other services, a strategic reply to back them off gently works well, 'sounds interesting, what I would like is for you to get a couple of months worth of visability on the account and then we could get together so you could make some best recommendations', they loved that, how could they resist such a forward thinking, sensible customer? With another account in the bag you can play as hard as you want with the Royal. All the best, get your thoughts straight and most of all have fun! 'villain
  8. Well they dragged it out to the last but statements finally came through. Have just done the math - £2,682. What a bunch of Horse thieves!! 1st Request going out for delivery tommorow. Byeeee for now.
  9. Hi All, Nothing to report back on as of yet! It must be hell for them to do anything administrative for a tenner, bleeding hearts...anyone? Will post as things happen. ps Hope that good ole Sans Serif proves to be more reader friendly.
  10. Nice one MARTIN3030, I will certainly shout for help when needed. Been downloading info all night...brain shot...must sleep!
  11. Just about to launch my first wave against Nat West. SAR letter prep'd c/w cheque for £10 from my Llyods account, thought that this would be a nice little pre-emptive strike against any threats suggesting potential closure of my account...I can't resist flipping the bird where ever possible! Onwards and upwards. DLTBGYD!!
