I am just about to send preliminary approach for repayment to HSBC. I am a little confused as i have made a schedule of charges but used a template which calculated also 8% interest. Just as I was about to send I noticed a warning saying do not include the 8% until you reach court. Looking at the preliminary template letter i have to put the amount that i require plus an amount i have been charged in overdraft interest. I am unsure how to calculate this? This is all quite new to me and maths was never my strong point. Can anyone help? Patsy
