  1. I have the right template (I think), I have calculated my charges, told the bank I want them back, declined their offer of 6 months charges, and am now about to apply to the court. Am i right in thinking I go to the Moneyclaim website? I havent been able to find a link on here to use..... Can anyone give me an idiot's guide to what to do, starting with the right site to use, how long is it going to take, and how do I know what to do next? I have racked my brains over this site but for all the reading my brain is seriously fried. I was meant to do this a month ago but I was so confused I left it, now I have the courage back in me, I kind of need some support. Maybe someoone with MSN and a little patience can spare me 5 mins? Many thanks, I hope you all had a good chrimbo x x
  2. Hi, I have gone through the whole parlarva of claiming back my bank charges, and am now at the stage where I need to file my details with the county court. Call me dense, but I cant fit everything I need into the electronic version, nor can i find anywhere to add an attachment ie a list of charges with the electronic version. Is it risky taking some of the text out and not sending the charge details? Is it better to send it in the post? Also, if I send it in the post I'm not sure where to send it, I live in Birmingham, my brother filed his with Northampton court, but he lives in Coventry, it's all very complicated, I really could do with the money as my other half was recently made redundant, but I dont know which way is best? For the sake of £1250 I'll gladly follow rthe right procedure but I think I've frazzled my brain, I've done so much reading about this over the weekend, I dont know what to do and who to send it to. I feel a bit like this........ Please advise? Thanks for your patience Kelly
  3. It was the first letter, I filled out the spreadsheets and sent it off, their £312 offer was the first offer they've given me
  4. OK, so I sent a letter asking for my £680 back, and the 14 days for the repayment should have been due today. 10 days ago i recieved acknowledgement of our claim, saying they will respond within 4 weeks or whatever it was. As the original 14 days have expired and on the last day I've just got an initial amount offered for £312, so do I proceed straight to the county court and ignore this one as the 14 days are up or do I offer them another 14 days to pay in full, and do it then? I have read and re-read the FAQ but am confused as to what I'm meant to do? Could someone who DOES understand maybe cut and paste the correct template onto here for me? I'd really appreciate any input you can offer so I dont fluff it up, its not through ignorance that I'm asking its because I simply cant suss it out. Thanks Kelly
  5. Well my friend who works there was visiting last night, she said cahoot are only paying out at the court application stage. Therefore if you are having problems getting your refunds keep going, they will eventually pay out, though you have to go the whole hog to get them to do so.
  6. Does this mean I can still claim, and if anyone else has been through this with a GDMO account, did you send your letters through Friars house or GDMO (Group Debt Management Operations)? I have friends at cahoot but they both on holiday this week Thanks Kelly
  7. I know some people who work there.......I have it on excellent authority from staff either still there or in their redundancy period (Just been bought by Spanish Bank) they will eventually cough up. Are you writing to Coventry? Basically they have a budget every month that they have to stick to as much as poss. If they can avoid paying out charges they will, ie why they said no they wont be refunding anything in response to your first letters. The next step is to offer a portion of the amount owed in order to keep you sweet, avoid "unnecessary" cost, and keep them out of the press. If you send in your second letters they will have to refund your amounts, including the interest added etc. This is as per my friends in the COMPLAINTS dept at the Friars House building, many of the staff have had this procedure completed already, unfortunately the only people I know who bank with them are staff, so cant vouch for the rest of you but I know what it spells to me
