  1. Can someone please help me. I have been searching the forums last night and today trying to find the Step by Step plan that I have seen mentioned on other site directing me to these forums, but I cant find it. There is a wealth of information here, and I just cant see the wood for the trees. Can someone throw me a rope and post the link to the plan. Thanks Tatsky
  2. Hi There I am pretty new to this, and trying to read as much as I can on the forums to get me started. Basically, I have looked through my IF statements for the past 5 years (April 2001 - Present) and I can see £570 of charges for unpaid DD and exceeding overdraft. I have all the info regarding dates, charges etc and I have the statements and letters from IF to back up whats been charged. So do I go straight for the prelim "repay these charges" letter? 1 other point I wondered whether was worth making is that when I was being charged these DD and OD charges, I asked IF to increase my overdraft. I only have £200 overdraft, and even a small increase would have stopped me getting charged these fees. As it goes, they wouldnt increase the OD, and so I would get charged between £60-£90 per month, making it a never ending cycle. Happily, I managed to work myself out of this, and im on the even keel now. However, this unwillingness to change my OD limit seemd to indicate IF wanting to keep earning money out of my situation. Is it worth mentioning this in my letter? I am also thinking about moving my account to Lloyds TSB, as I have a joint account there with my partner for our house bills. Should I put this in place before I start chasing IF for the charges, incase they close my account in spite? Many thanks for any info you can give me Tatsky
