I wrote asking for a list of all charges levied on the account. They replied less than two weeks later claiming that their charges were fair and in accordance with their terms and conditions etc etc. However they then went on to say that as a gesture of goodwill they would repay all charges incurred to date plus extra interest also charged and that an amount of £2300 had been credited to the account.

Update Have today been re-imbursed all bank charges - a total of £2,300

I have just discoverd this site and spent the last hour reading the various advices. I intend reclaiming bank charges levied by the Royal Bank of Scotland. wish me luck
