  1. Just checked my bank account and the money's in there... WOW! I must admit I was skeptical but this works... thanks so much to this forum and the great ppl who run it for allowing me to get my money back. And if anyone has any doubts don't... the banks owe you that money, it's your money so GRASP IT with both hands!!! :D :D
  2. Bugger I think I've ballsed up on my claim HSBC wants to settle out of court yeah?? And I file bloody judgment!! Typical I knew this was too good to be true I feel like crying 80 quid down the drain
  3. Hi guys I WON!!!!! Although I didn't cross out the confidentiality agreement but I don't give a toss! THANK YOU to this forum They offerred me a couplle of hundred less than owed, I declined offer, filed MCOL and within a few days a letter from D&G solicitors came through the door with an offer for the full amount!! That was a week gone Monday and still no reply tho, I did file judgement agaisnt them the day I recieved the letter saying that they admit the whole amount is paid and I wish to be paid back immediately. Sounds fair to me but maybe the whole "admit" thing doesn't go down well with them, we shall see Any advice about this and issuing warrants would be greatly appreciated, I'd love to get these bastards a warrant and go to the press I presume buy that point the confidentiality agreemebnt will be null and void!!
  4. Hi ken, thanks for reply, I got a reply from this bloke (is he a computer??!) offerring £480, £63 less than claimed for which is alright but as a matter of principle I'm going ahead with the claim I have sent my letter before action ken and if they don't offer me the full amount by the 13th I am filing a claim, exciting stuff!! I'm really unsure where to send the claim to... this colin bloke or the bank itself. I am claiming against the bank and not colin so it makes more sense to send the claim to canada square, any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!! Also is it neccessary to accept the offer as a partial settlement or can you decline the offer entirely, and if I do accept it as a partial settlement how would I calculate interest for the remainder of the charges, as HSBC haven't stipulated which charges they are refunding to me (in fact, they're refusing to refund me the charges at all and are saying it's a "representation" of the charges!!) Thanks again for any help in this matter
  5. Sent second letter now, they have 2 more weeks then I'm filing my claim I've been sending the letters to the HSBC customer service quality team which is listed on their website for complaints, etc. Should I put that as the address on the moneyclaim form or the main office in canada square?? Thanks
  6. Quick update my amigos Sent the first letter the Friday before last and still waiting for reply, I'm being patient about this!! I have a question though, I posted the letter first class but not recorded delivery, so could they just ignore the letter and pretend to have not received it?? Mucho thanks
  7. Hi ken I'm just sending a list of all my charges, I have online banking so I read through all my statements from the past 6 years and put them into a spreadsheet I considered writing to them and getting a list of my charges but from what I've read on here they just send you all your statements through the post... a waste of my time the postmans time and paper!!!
  8. Hiya everyone this site has been very useful and I am very grateful to everyone who has set it up and provided the info, thanks guys I've just finished compiling my letter which I am sending to the service quality team in leeds (I hope that's the right place to send it!) along with my summary of charges thingy-ma-bob, calculated that over the past three years they've charged me £543 illegally.... I am shocked!!! Am quite excited though told one of my mates about it and I promised her if it works out for me I'll help her get her money back too, talkin' bout a revolution here folks Anyhoo will keep you updated on my progress, sending letter on Wednesday recorded delivery and my fingers are tightly crossed
