    Self Assessment CCJ

Hi All In 2008 after a couple of years arguing with the HMRC about money owed, they decided to assess what I owed and have a CCJ against me which I didn't know how to challenge at the time, anyway after I have got all my paper work together, it turned out that rather than owing them over 4k they have paid me over 1k for over payments. so is there any way to get this CCJ overturned? Thanks for your help Robb
  2. Hi All I have had, a claim in with LLoyds for unfair charges that has been put on hold, but recently I have been getting into a mess with the new way they are rackiing up excessive costs, are these unfair to? I seem to be being loaned money, to pay off the charges, over a six month period, then they cancel the extended overdraft and put it back to the origional amount, then charge me bank charges for going over my overdraft again, because the payment plan never pays the extended overdraft off. I think I'm giving them about £300 pounds every 6 months for the charges + interest, I'm getting ready to claim these new charges back, but I thought they may of worded the new terms in such a way that the were deemed fair ( in law) any advice would be greatly appriciated Regards Robb
  3. really sorry to ask again but the bailiff has been on the phone after I sent a letter to the council, with an offer of payment including the first installment, Again the Baliff has said he can gain entry to my house without my permission and that he can immobaise the company veichle, until the debt is paid, I'm waiting for the council to accept my payments. What should I do with the Bailiff, he wants the first payment tomorrow. Robb
  4. They had a walking possesion for last year does that count for the current debt? Regards Robb
  5. Hi All Had the bailiff round twice this week, I have an outstanding debt of £1400 with the council for this year that they have got a liability order for, I have not let the bailiff in to my property, but he is claiming that because of the liability order he can just turn up with a lock smith and let himself in, is this correct? I have spoken to the bailiff on the phone and he has said that I can spead the payments over time but only if I make a substantial upfront payment (half £700) by Wednesday, can they realistically do this? Any advice would be gratefully appreciated Regards Robb
