  5. I have just recieved a letter from abound, I am writing to you with some important information. On the opposite page you will find a copy of the consumer credit agreement which we are obliged to send you under the terms of the consumer credit act 1974. The agreement states plainly the terms of payment for the goods you have ordered. Please make sure that whoever is buying the goods reads the details then signs and dates the form. Now i was just wandering if i sign it then send it back would this create a contract, That would mean they have to supply it to me or can they still say it is out of stock. Rhys
  6. Just spoke to them and i explained i new someone who had ordered the camera after me but theres have been dispatched and mine has been cancled due to no stock, they said without going into the other persons account they cannot give me a reason for this, so i asked if i would still be getting mine when they come back in stock, and she said they cannot keep an order open but once they are back in stock i can re-order, and my guess is they will be at a higher price. Rhys
  7. Installspark, yes it went through on the 100week payment method, And i do believe there will be some arguing going on over the phone very shortly. Rhys
  8. Well i have just been told they cannot process the order as it is out of stock. Bit of a shame but there we go. Rhys
  9. Well this is the e-mail they sent me: Thank you for the order that you have placed with abound. This is to confirm that the order has been received. Your Order Receipt Confirmation Number is: ************* (Received 27/05/2006 14:47:43) VH8422 Samsung Pro 815 Digital Camera Product Samsung Pro 815 Digital Camera Item Price: £317.70 Quantity: 1 Total Price: £317.70 Sub Total: £317.70 Delivery: £3.50 GRAND TOTAL: £321.20 Would you say that is enough to form a contract? Rhys
  10. Hi thanks for the quick reply, here is a link, i have gone for the 100 week option. http://www.abound.co.uk/AboNet/shop/Abound/product.aspx?fh_secondid=256830&fh_view_size=9999&sdg_fh_page=index.jsp&fh_eds=%3f&fh_usertype=aboundc3&fh_location=%2f%2fabound%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b13007%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b15034%7d&fh_refview=lister Rhys
  11. I have just made an order for a new camera, I think the price on the website is a miss print, but i have received an email saying that my order is confirmed, and my question is, can they up the price or refuse to send me the goods? any help would be greatly appreciated. Rhys
  12. From personal experiance when your sending your DPA request i suggest that you send it recorded delivery, as i sent mine standard post and they ignored it, and when i phoned they claimed not to have received it, so i will be sending it again recorded this time. Sorry if its been said before but just a bit of advice. Rhys
