  1. I can't open the claim form, it says it is downloading and it does but then it doesn't appear. I need to send the form off on Monday. Can someone please e-mail a copy to me......
  2. Hi there My sister sent the first letter to the Halifax, received a standard reply saying that they would look into it. She then received nothing so sent the second letter once their 14 days was up on the first letter. She then received a phone call this morning saying that they would offer her £100 because the charges she is talking about relate to a credit card (this is untrue, it's all to do with her current account). Anyway, she said no she would accept the £100 and they asked what would she accept, she said nothing less that £1000.00 as the charges come to nearly £15000. He then said he would offer her £300, she said no, so he then said well we will see you in court !!!! He said that he would put their conversation in a letter to her. This bit gets kinda scary. She only has a couple of days left before she has to send the court letter. Will it have to go to court ?
  3. Hi there I sent the Preliminary letter on the 11th August 2006 and have not yet received a response. I sent it direct to the branch that holds my account as wasn't sure who to send to. Do I give 14 days from 11th (12th when they would have received it) ? And, if I do/do not receive an acknowledgement which letter or what action do I take next. I'm getting a little confused. J 11/8/06 sent Preliminary letter
  4. I'm unsure of where to send the first letter either. Everyone seems to be sending them to different addresses. I guess, go for your branch where the account is held ??????
  5. Hi there I'm all new to this......, but decided that I want to do it. I've counted up the past 5 years worth of charges and ready to send the first letter to HSBC, but where do I send it, just my branch where my account is held ? And is it the letter that has a sub-title of "request for repayment of charges".
