  1. Thanks for that - I'll see if I'm able to make it to the court. You've been really helpful and it's much appreciated.
  2. Sorry - me being vague. What has happened in the past is that they've relented by ignoring the summons. I've then had the money put into my account. I assumed that would happen in this case which is what I meant when I said that I was 'expecting the money today'
  3. Ok, so if I don't turn up that doesn't mean I've lost the claim. But if I do turn up there's a chance I will be granted the money there and then? BTW thanks for your help, much appreciated - I knew I should have studied law and not museums (pays more too).
  4. What could be the outcome if the sheriff grants the sist? Will I have to pay costs?
  5. Hi all Have claimed two amounts back from the Bank of Scotland and am currently claiming my third (and final) amount back. Expected the money today and instead got a letter saying that I was being taken to court on the 28th. It notes that the defender is asking the court to 'sist the action' pending determination of the court case against the Clydesdale and others. I assume this means the court will just put it on hold until after that case. Or will they possibly find against me? Do I have to turn up at court? Any suggestions or answers gratefully received.
