  1. Hi Is it today that something happens regards microfiche? I seem to think that i have read something somewhere on here saying that some sort of action is being taken against barclaycard today and and there will be some answers to the microfiche argument. Is this right and if so when can we expect to hear something and where from? Im keen to know what the outcome is. Sally:mad:
  2. Thanks angrycat will look into google again, i did have a look yesterday but couldnt find any sample template letters or anything and im not sure whether to threaten them with suing for irresponsible lending at the same time as claiming charges back or do charges first/not bother with charges atall but get straight to the point and try to get it all written off. Will do some more research! Sally
  3. Hi I have just started to take action against my 4 credit card providers with which i got into almost £9000 worth of debt with when i was 18, had a part time job, no way of being able to afford the repayments and was obviously less mature than i am now. Ive just begun the process of asking for details of all my charges made against me in the past (my accounts have been paid off at a rate of £5 a month each for the past 2 and a half years through the consumer credit counselling service who have also managed to freeze all interest and charges for me and i highly recommend (www.cccs.co.uk) Now the next thing i have in mind for the credit card companies who got me into this mess in the first place is the possibility of threatening to sue them for irresponsible lending to an immature teenage girl with no fulltime job no means of paying even the minimum payments back and 3 other credit cards on the go, all the time raising my credit limit and half the time without me even having to ask(especially around xmas) which as you can imagine to someone with no willpower or common sense is impossible to resist when you have no decent income and the only money you do earn gets swallowed up by credit card payments. I was wondering if anyone has any information on how to go about this, as there doesnt seem to be any info ive found so far on this site to advise on this subject, but im sure it is possible and im sure that there must be some way of getting an out of court settlement from the creditors by issuing threats of action, in the same way that bank charges are refunded. Any info whatsoever would be extremely gratefully recieved from anyone who has any idea or experience on this. Also do you think i should mention this irresponsible lending in my letter to claim all my charges back, or should i claim the charges first and then begin a second battle with them when i have my money safely refunded? Thanks in advance for any advice given Sally
