  1. I havent heard back yet (i was delayed in sending letter anyway) but i doubt i will get anywhere either. Even though the "hardship" criteria i definatley qualify for. I wish this was all over and we could just get our money back!! I hate A & L i cant believe i ever went near someone that charged £5 per day for being over overdraft.arghhhh!! Now to find another account

  5. Hi I managed to claim back bank charges a few months ago but they have since charged me a few hundred again in charges. can I claim again??

  8. Hi What is the deal with business accounts? my step mum has asked me to look into it for her...is it the same procedure as normal? also can you claim back charges for returned cheques that have purposely returned AN HOUR before the money being available?!! any help will be great ! Fran

  10. I had already done that and submitted a claim for the rest. I have been on holiday and just gone online and seen that they have entered a defence....help!

Well its abit confusing... i issued the claim and they acknowledged. then a few weeks later i had £883 in my account so I assumed that was sorted even thought they owed me 925.27 but received a letter today from them implying i was requesting a 925.27 as a further payment and saying i needed to provide evidence of this unless they will submit a defence?!! not quite sure what to do!!

  14. hi yeah I am using the simple charges spreedsheet,I have put the amount in as a minus as you said and thats worked it out! however the interest is still staying the same as before apart from on the line of partial payment where obviously it is a minus.
  15. Thanks, also how does it work with the interest? does that continue for the full amount? also do I need to put on the moneyclaim form anywhere that I have had partial payment?

  17. well I got the letter on the friday and the money the following Thursday. It just says "cash" on my bank details but I am assuming its them as it wa the exact amount they had offered. I just dont know how I deal with the rest that is owed me?? did they only offer you some of it?
  18. can someone help me please?!! I am not sure what I do now. I have received the part payment but I am still owed about 600. when the 14 days are up (from the rejection letter) do I the put the claim through the court for the remaining 600 AND the interest on the whole amount on the spreedsheet or just work it out for the 600 owed? help I am confused!!
  19. HELP! I got the good old "full and final" settlement letter on friday, it was dated 11th April. I sent a rejection letter (will accept as partial payment) on monday marked urgent as in the letter it said if havent heard in 14 days they will assume its all ok. well i have just checked my bank account and the offer they gave me is in the account...the 14 days were definatley not up. do you think they are treating it as partial payment or put it in account before getting the letter???!! am worried wont get the full amount now!
