  2. Hi everyone just wanted to let you know i sent initial letter to Barclaycard 27th March 09 requesting £1297 charges back (over limit and late payment charges) Received a letter today (3rd April 09) refunding £1297 to me woop! Cant believe its been so easy I only had to send the one letter Just waiting on capial one now...
  3. Hi folks....hope someone can help me please. Had a read through some of the posts but cant find anything suitable....Wrote to Capital One begginning Feb requesting full refund of mis-sold PPI. Got a reply today from them which (I think) is a cop out... to cut a long story short is basically states i was sold the PPI during a phone call with them where i had the option to listen to a limited version of the terms and conditions and also was sent full details in the post (cant remember if i got either to be honest) It states the product was optional which was made clear to me (I am positive this was not) They state their telephone scripting is clear, fair and not mis-leading. Capital One would not have made a recommendation I took PPI (I would never have requested this) I had a 30 day cooling off period and could have cancelled at any time. They are not refunding any of the premiums... Sorry for the long post tried to put as much from the letter in here (dont have a scanner so its all mannually typed lol) Just really wondering if anyone else has had this and where do I go from here? I'm new to this having not attempted to claim anything back before and wonder should I write to them again....and what to say? Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
