i got my bank statements from barclays for £5 no problems, then i sent a letter to my local barclays manager on 5/5/06 saying I calculate that you have taken £2355.00 plus £188 which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £2543.00. but i did not send in a spread sheet giving dates and amount, i recevied a reply on 8/5/06 saying sorry you have had to contact us about the regime of fees that have been applied to your account. thank you for taking the time and trouble to do so. i am looking into your concerns and will let you have a response or update as quickly as i can but on later then 5 june 2006 in the meantime if you need to speak to me please call 0800 0044 207 699 4998. i have enclosed a leaflet explaining how barclays works to resolve complaints. i hope you find this helpful. then 2 days later i got a letter saying had paid referral 1@£25.00 and a letter explaining about charges, it is now the 15 of may and i am starting to panic as i will need to sent a letter to start court action, so if anyone can give me any advice i would be very greatful. i am oof to read faqs now and get ready. i will keep you posted. cat

i don't think you read my letter properley it was in 2001 and i have only just found out. and i am unsure if i can claim it back as i did'nt say could have it??????????

sent for my bank statements from 2000 to 2006, i was reading through them and saw tesco car insurances had taken £868.35 out of my account bcc was by the ref number i don't know what bcc stands for, i have always paid my insurance by direct debit of £26.43 which was taken out 3 days later. is there any think i can do or is it to late now as this happend 05/10/2001. can anyone help. yours faithfully. cat.
