  1. Hi I received a letter from SC&M they said the bank will pay me the full amount of £749.40p if i sign the following basis: 1. The payment will be in full and final settlement of your claim 2. The terms of this agreement are confidential to the parties and their legal representitives 3. you must agree to maintain your accounts with the bank within the agreed limits and in accordance with the terms that governs your account 4. you can avoid these fees in future if you agree an increase in your overdraft with the bank before you try and make payments that that would take you over any previous agreed limits. if you do not do so you will again incur these fees. Please let us know you are willing to settle the matter on these terms . if so your bank will arrange fore your account to be credited. What should I cross off and send back to them? Thanks for any help

  4. Hi guys, Over the weekend I received a letter from Lloyds saying they don't agree that their charges are illegal and they are looking at present having talks with the OFT. Can someone please advise on what step to take from here? Thanks for your help, Haglem01
  5. Wow, the same happened to me, I phoned up lloyds and asked why i was getting charged £30 for being £6 over drawn, they said thet they've stopped the £10 buffer plus they have now stopped the fact that if you do go overdrawn and pay it off the same day you'll still be charged £30! They are bleeding Thieves!! They said there is nothing they can do even though I wasn't made aware they'd done away with the £10 buffer! I'm going to go to the local branch and ask for it back as you've done Chris! Thanks Haglem
