hi all sent off my letter with £10 cheque on 18th got all my staments on the 25th with a letter from clare plummer asking if i have any problems contact her so i thought i would try my luck with this and told her that i have been charged £470 in 2 years and this was not a acceptable amount and she said she would look into it and get back to me i did tell her if that she failed to contact me that day before 4.30 i will be posting my second letter giving them 14 days,sure enough she phoned at 4,15 and offered all of the money back after i have signed a disclamer.recieved the disclammer on the 28 th made sure i kept a copy just awaiting a cheque.are they now paying out with out even putting up a fight or am i just missing something here.? thanx all ian

hi all my wife got into payment problems with fashion world she owes £511.I have phoned fashion world and got all of her statements the charges tot up to more than £350 should i persue this as the woman on the phone kept reminding me thay they are not a bank was she trying to tell me something.Any advice welcomed ian&angela

hi all ok i phoned fashion world this morning to ask for all of wifes statements they asked why and i told them that i just wanted to check them all.the woman was very friendly but had an air of cockyness about her she kept adding into the conversation that they are not a bank and they would send them for free and once again added they are not a bank.was she trying to tell me something or are there charges not the same way as banks should i persue this. thanx ian&angela

thanx all i have just sent this morning for all of my statements with 2 cheques for £10.off the few i have managed to salvage from around the house cap1 owe me £160 pound and beneficial £480 see how much it is when i get the statements probably treble that. thanx again all keep up the good work ian&angela

hi mcuth i have just started with hfc regarding my beneficial card i have charges for over £500 so any advice you get pass it on i am not as far into my claim as you.When i phoned them for my account number they asked for £120 pound for statments to be sent out but i reminded them they can only charge£10 they accepted it so just starting my letter now to send off for statements ian&ang

hi all new to all of this but what i have read on this site has been very infomative and a bit releving that we might get rid of some of these debts we have. ok i had a card with beneficial bank with a credit limit of £200 pound got into bother with payments before i new it i owed £475 most of which was charges.hfc bank then phoned me and offered me a loan to pay this off which i took to stop charges can i still claim also my wife has still got a account with cap 1 with £200 credit limit as to date she owes £600 pound and they add £20 month for over limit charge but came to agreement about missed payment as she was only paying £15 but they wanted all moneys over £200 so ended up charging £40 MONTH but now down to £20 month can she make a claim and wife also has a account with fashion world where she owes £500 pound and i would say 90% of this is charges but this account has been handed to a collections agency called reliable collections who charge £17 even when they know you are in financial trouble can she claim any of this back any help with all of this would be very much appreciated ian&angela
