hi well we've got 2 accounts with barclays one is my hubby's own account then we have our joint account. called them on tuesday requesting the statements and recieved them this morning very quickly lol so checked the statements over and we've had £1125 worth of charges. just about to organise the spreadsheet etc. Reading through the posts i see that barclays can be quite difficult but i'm up for the fight lol. i'll keeps you all posted. My hubby account was opened in england and closed when we were still living in england but now we live in scotland how does this work?????

hi everyone i'm planning on claimimg back charges on 2 of my bos accounts. I sent the letter off last week requesting my statements and they sent back my cheque which was very nice of them lol so just waiting for the statements to arrive will keep you's updated. Also my other a/c which i'm planning on claiming against once i've got a little more information on what to do. I have a student a/c with a £2000 overdraft limit on it which i live in. i'm planning on arranging another a/c to get my student bursery etc into incase they freeze my a/c but would they insist i pay my overdraft first?? as you can imagine i don't have £2000 to spare . If i find out they wont make me pay it back i'll proced with that a/c also huge thanks in advance

my brother is in a mess with capital one. i've found out he has a £200 credit limit because of charges etc he now owes over £800. He tends to bury his head in the sand so i'm trying to help him organise things. I've sent off the letter requesting his statements etc with a £10 cheque but what happens now in requards to his account. Do you make a payment in the meanwhile? and also will they continue to charge interest on his account?? sorry if these seem like stupid questions just not all that sure. Hi everyone, i'm hoping to get charges back from the bank of scotland. i've had loads over the last 3 years but didn't really complain before as i felt it was my fault i went overdrawn etc however i was so angry last month when i went overdrawdn by £4 and recieved a £32 fine which infuriated me especially as i don't even recieve my charge letters manually i recieve them through online banking. Anyway i'll get to the point i'm trying to make lol i'm planning on sending a Data Protection Act Request because i'm unsure of how much to claim for. Who do i send this letter to? My local branch, the head office or the complaints department? Thanks in advance for any replys
