Cathy, AIl went on to the MoneyClaims web site and cut and copied the the N1 letter from the Library. I then cos I am no account could not work out the interest on a daily basis so I rang them and a lovely lady worked out that it is 29 pence a day. Any problems with the form ring the help line. Hi was on Holiday last week and thought to check my bank acount after reading on a thread that somebody found that they had been credited the money owed. To my MUCH suprise the HALIFAX had settled in full, however not admitting any liability. Thi is now a new start. Thanks Paul :D :D

Hi Kath, I completed the form on Line. I used the templates and made the fit. The only problem that I had was working out the daily rate. I rang the on line help line and they were great and helped me. Good luck Paul PS I am now waiting 28 days. I they do not pay up I will have to dig my suite out.

Hi, Just to let you know. That I received the Notice on 17/10/06. The halifax have stated that they intend to defend all of the claim. I have looked at what is required to go to court but it look mind blowing. Could anybody give me a basis outline please. Thanks Paul

:confused: I have looked through the FAQ. I am still a bit confused how to work out the interest (not the overall interest) on my account. I suspect that at the end of each of my statements the Halifax supplied, it states eg Interest Debited - notified last month 6.60 In claiming this charge the problem is that I had an athourised overdraft and how do you separate the lawful interest charge or do I just clam for the overall interest over the 6 years ?
