  1. Thanks for the advice I contacted the court today. they told me no application for expenses has been been submitted. They also said if they do it would be for the sum of £357.20.
  2. Ok, thanks just thought the court would tell me the costs expenses and not Nolan’s.
  3. Hi, A family member paid my credit card debt off for me. I received this from Nolan’s and checking this is correct? I have noted on file that payment of the principal sum in the action was made yesterday. Given the sums involved I would be obliged if you advise what the source of funds for the payment was. As advised in section A1 of the claim form, our clients are also asking the Court to award the costs of the action. At this stage the costs are £389.45. Our clients have agreed to refrain from applying for Decree to be granted for the costs of the action for 7 days to allow for either payment of the costs to be made or your proposals for repayment of these costs to be provided.
  4. Hi Only a few days to respond date and found this forum. Had letters from Nolan’s solicitors on behalf of Cabot. I sent a CCA request and they replied with a court summons. Eventually Cabot sent a letter Oct they have received my request and they haven’t got my paperwork they’d update in 12 days time but nothing yet. This is a recent credit card taken out in 2020 so imagine the paperwork easy to get hold of. I was going to ask for time to pay just looking for any advice before I submit it to the sheriff summons in Hamilton court.
