Hi, For couple years now I have been plagued with a situation where another person with my first and last name and seemingly same DOB is being linked to my council and DWP claims. The DWP halted my PIP because it was told by the system that I am in Wandsworth prison for some serious crimes, just before Xmas the council halted my claims for the same reason and in November I had the factory on my door step looking to take me into custody for failing to appear at court and this has been popping up every three months or so and is driving me absolutely nuts. The police to be fair did call up a picture of the other chap and saw that I am most definitely not the same chap as he is a six foot something Jamaican chap and I am a shortish chap of not Jamaican descent, ESA put a managers note on the file saying that any prison notifications were a false positive but PIP seemed oblivious to this on my file and just halted my claim. Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone about it with them and they have to hear from HMP service direct before they take their foot off my throat so to speak. Is there ANY way I can get this nightmare to end? I suffer from mental and physical disabilities including PTSD and it has made me very anxious again, any help or advice gratefully received on how to put a stop to all of this. Cheers
