Hi, No, I haven't moved address since agreement. I have received no letters, emails or calls . No messages either in my Moneybarn portal . I am still waiting on bank to complete full investigation. My finance agreement total was for £15,000. Car cost 9000 & 6,000 interest. I started paying £258 a month on 7/7/21 and they said last payment received was 12/ 8/22

Hi, I am just new to this site, and hope someone can help me please. My start to 2023 has been the worst. been with Moneybarn since July 2021 where I got £9k to purchase my car. Appeared to be going well, keeping up to date with my payments on Thursday 12th January came home from work parked car in road just in front of my house like i do. Woke up on Friday 13th where my nightmare began . Noticed a card was posted through my door with the words Engage Marstons-Holdings vehicle recovery and a reference number saying to call them regarding an issue with Moneybarn . On calling them a rude man said hi, just to inform you that we repossessed your car yesterday evening as Moneybarn advised us to!!!!. I thought it was a sick joke. On looking outside I noticed, my car was gone without any form of warning . I was distraught and unaware of why. I called moneybarn where this woman informed me that my contract had been terminated and that my car had been repossessed. I was flabbergasted and still in a state of disbelief . I advised that I had not received any contact regarding this . No letters, calls , emails. I was in tears speaking with her begging to sort out something to resolve this. She alleged that I had 4 missed payments and therefore had defaulted . I again stated that I wasn't aware of this but would check with bank and again stated that I had never received any warning or knowledge of this. She stated that i wasn't getting my car back unless i paid my agreement in full!!!. I stated that this was unrealistic and would arrange any repayment plan. She was heartless and showed no empathy. I am left in complete turmoil where I cant get to work and certainly cant get a car . I contacted Police where they advised that marstons holdings were a law upon themselves as they are not required by law to inform them of removing my car. I feel I'm in a no win situation and left in a very dark place unaware of what s actually going on. I feel I have suffered an actual bereavement at what they have done to me. Cant believe this is not criminality. I have sent my complaint to Resolver. Would appreciate some much needed desperate support and advice please. Thanks
