  1. At the beginning of December 2022, I wanted to purchase a Hard Drive recorder, Panasonic had one I was interested in on special through Currys as Christmas present. By the 9th of December 2022, I placed an online order for this item and received several e-mails from Currys about this order. I had to set up an online account and then received an e-mail to advise me to I take my information to set up a credit account to purchase this item interest free. I went down to my local Currys branch and once inside they claimed they for whatever reason I could not continue this online order, because the online part was separate to them, despite Currys on line directing me to take in my details. I would have to order through their store, using my credit information, despite being asked by their online service to provide my details to a branch. So again, we went through all this whole registration process that used all my credit details when I had registered online. But apparently they could not deliver, and now I would have to collect the items from the branch. Following that, I had set up an account and made the first payment, then I received numerous e-mails from their Credit Finance company, Creation asking me to rate their service. (I have not, until I receive product) I was clearly told that this item should be in store within a few days, no more than a week. Then ten days later hearing nothing back from Currys about my order, I went back to the branch on 22 December 2022, to check if my order had arrived after waiting 15 minutes to find a free member of staff I was told, the item had still not arrived and that they would contact me. So having ruined my Christmas, today is now a full calendar month since I placed my order and I have not had any contact from Currys via telephone, e-mail or letters to explain where my item is and yet their finance company will soon be chasing me to make a second payment for an item I have still not received and do not know when I will receive. When they said it would be with me for Christmas, I didn’t envisage they were talking about Christmas, December 2023. What a joke! This will be the last time I ever order from Currys, with zero Customer Service, at least with Amazon or John Lewis when they are late with an order you are kept up to date and always notified. Currys just take your money, lie to you and expect you to just sit and wait until they are ready to fill your order. Get real! this is 2023 not 1923.
