  1. Vehicles basically a non runner atm cause of clutch so wouldn’t fancy driving it to them. I’d personally say clutch having gone would be fair wear n tear on a 180k car but maybe I’m being unrealistic. I’ll keep an eye out for their lies. I’ve been reading posts here all morning and this along with some articles online I atleast have an idea of the ways on which they’ll try and bullshit me!
  2. So I’m most likely going to end up liable (in their eyes) for the cost of the clutch at the very least? I suspected as much. I’m going to ring them first thing and see if they’ll be of any help whatsoever, highly doubt it but I need this resolving, thanks for your advice!
  3. This morning my clutch went on my car, gonna cost over a grand to fix, doesn’t seem reasonable to do it on a car with such high mileage (180k miles 110 of which I’ve done since taking out the finance 3 years ago). Also have a fog light surround broken, hit a pheasant a week or so ago on the way to work, easy fix by myself for 30 or so quid. My question is, having paid over 50% of my total amount payable, if I VT will I be legally responsible for sorting the clutch and any bumps and scrapes on the car? There’s a couple, no major damage. I don’t mind fighting MB if need be but I’d rather not fight a losing battle. Thanks in advance. Edit: car is on HP if that helps, all I’ve found online so far seems to apply to PCP if I’m reading it correctly
