Thanks for the reply! Not joking, I have a lot to lose if this went further, perhaps I am worrying over nothing but you hear all sorts of things!

I filled up from a costa coffee machine at a petrol station for a coffee worth approx £3, but then after I realised they had the cup sizes wrong so filled another correct one and left the original on the machine. A staff member asked me if it was mine and I said no and he took it away. I paid for my fuel, the second coffee and groceries and then left the petrol station. I wasn’t trying to be deceptive at all, I was just very tired, needed a coffee and just wanted to get on the road. Nothing else was said but now I have started to think about it Im worried they will report me to the police as this will be on cctv and I suspect the staff member saw me on there which is why he asked. Should I do anything?
