  1. its common sense not to leave parcels on the door step these days god knows why they didn't have them be signed for there was like 5 deliveries over the weekend the amount of people who would have saw a bunch of parcels on my door step would have been ridiculous! I paid with a debit card, I was thinking to contact my bank and have them attempt to charge back?
  2. please check my last post any updates? I've asked for a manager to get in touch theyre just fobbing me off.. what do you recommend?
  3. NIGHTMARE!!! So I have finally got a response off footlocker... "Thank you for your patience. Our carrier confirmed that the delivery address matches the shipping address originally provided on the order and that your parcel was in fact delivered to the correct address. Foot Locker has completed the investigation and consequently no refund will be triggered. From Foot Locker's perspective, the case opened has been examined as thoroughly as possible and will now be closed without the option to reopen it unless new information is presented. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding." I am not sure what to do next? I have contacted them again asking for a manager to contact me I will be calling UPS tomorrow and seeing what info they have of where it was left. They said they matched the address given but no one was home... the house was empty over the weekend they had been delivered. I assumed they would have took them somewhere safe and left me a note.. but no im 430£ out of pocket and doesn't look like they'll resolve it. Any help?
  4. The tracking says delivered to "other". god knows what that means. I didn't receive any kind of note saying where they had been or which collection point to collect from, nothing! just been left in the dark over a month with footlocker not resolving this. Just keep saying that the team is looking into it and will get back in touch shortly. Same thing said for over a month now.
  5. I have just sorn'd the car been trying to get in contact with them all morning but only thing I have managed to get is an automatic email saying: A penalty has been issued as you are registered as the keeper of a vehicle which has been untaxed without a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) being made. Penalties are only passed onto debt collectors to pursue if DVLA receive no response to the original penalty letter. Great care has been taken in selecting the Debt Collection Agencies. They are all professional organisations that adhere to the Credit Service Association, Office of Fair Trading Guidelines and the Data Protection Act (DPA). If you wish to make a payment in relation to the penalty you are able to by one of the following methods: By debit/credit card online, by visiting www.gov.uk/pay-dvla-fine By debit/credit card, by calling 0300 790 6808. Please note this is a payment only line. The Agency regrets that it is not possible to challenge this penalty by telephone or email. By cheque or postal order payable to DVLA. Please write the vehicle registration number on the back of any payment and return it to the address quoted on the letter. If, however, you wish to appeal against the penalty and feel you have circumstances relating to the alleged offence that you wish to bring to the enforcement officer’s attention you must do so in writing as a signature is required. Please send full details of your mitigating circumstances to; DVLA D12 Swansea SA99 1AH If you are not able to return the penalty letter you must quote the vehicle registration number, make and model in your letter. Further information can be found at www.gov.uk/appeal-dvla-fine DVLA is unable to accept these details by telephone or email. Please keep a copy of the correspondence for reference. If you have not already done so you must tax the vehicle if it is kept on the road, or make a SORN if it is being kept off the road. You can do either of these using your V5C at www.gov.uk/vehicletax or by phone on 0300 1234 321. I am not sure I have a leg to stand on appealing but I was originally only paying 12£ per month before I cancelled the direct debit I have no idea how its amounted to £114.12. Like you said that's probably the whole years tax they want. by the looks of it all I can do is send this letter off and hope they either wipe it and accept my sorn or they only make me pay the £12 or so I missed and sorn from today? Also was going to ask how did you backdate the sorn did you just put you applied for it on x date? because I have applied today and it was super simple just annoying I didn't do it when I cancelled my insurance!!
  6. What was your mistake? I'll drop them an email now. what excuse do I have cancelling the direct debit without applying for a sorn?
  7. Thanks again, so none of the parcels were signed for just dumped outside im guessing still, for the amount I paid surely they should take care of the measures they take to post, I suppose thats the logical thing to think but I'm not sure they even delivered of course its just he say she say. Delivered by UPS and and also Hermes, thanks!
  8. Legend mate thanks for putting my mind at ease. Yeah I have the V5c I'll get it sorn'd later on! Do i need to get in contact with them regarding the letter? it says 12 days of date of letter to pay don't want them adding extra charges on top
  9. I placed an order with footlocker on the 1st of April for the amount of over £400. Was away self isolating at my girlfriends when the order was supposed to be delivered, over the course of a weekend. The tracking was marked as delivered I thought nothing of it maybe they have left a note to collect from a local depot etc or which neighbor they had left them with like normal. Once I arrived home there was nothing left for me saying whats happened with the package. No missed delivery notes etc. I contacted them asking whats going on where the parcels have been left after checking with the neighbors either side after some general talk they gave me some missing order forms which was around a month ago now. I've contacted multiple times since and they just keep fobbing me off saying its gone to another team to investigate.. this has been going on for around a month now and still no resolution. On one of the calls they said there was a note saying a parcel was left on the porch... no good that is left unattended for 4 days. Just wondering where I stand with this as have received no goods? House was empty over the weekend they had marked them as delivered.
  10. I've had my car sitting in the garage for around a month now waiting to be sold. I cancelled my direct debit for tax around the same time and forgot to declare it off road. I did try calling them around the same time I cancelled but due to the pandemic I couldn't get through. I've now received a Statutory notice for payment of vehicle tax. I was under the impression that they had cancelled the tax due to the payment failing and they've now requested I pay 114£ because of this. just wondering what kind of options I have?
