  1. A week later and two duplicate texts saying that I've not responded to the letter of claim they have allegedly sent which I most certainly haven't got. I notice their texts just say their solicitors and not the name of these solicitors that have allegedly sent a letter. I'm thinking it's just hot air to get me to try and pay them! If I don't receive a letter of claim then surely they can't take it further anyway. In fact an old email clearly stated they are a paperless office and don't send anything out in the mail which makes me think even more that this is scare tactics. Do I just continue to sit it out?
  2. I looked it up. But following the instructions results in an error message that says "can't block messages without contact numbers" They send all their texts as CRS or CRS Eagle
  3. I already told them not to contact me using any other methods other than snail mail. Not that they listen and continue to send texts! Don't think you can block texts
  4. I suddenly got a text message from CRS just a few minutes ago saying their solicitors had issued a letter of claim. Yet a couple of weeks ago their page said they were no longer dealing with this account. Yet suddenly it's open again and they are sending a letter of claim? Help? This is what it said. I assumed that CRS were no longer dealing with this . I didn't expect to suddenly get a notification that they are sending a letter of claim. Can they actually do this still after saying they aren't dealing with the account any more?
  5. It's been a while since I sent the CCA request along with the £1 and the cheque hadnt been cashed and I haven't heard anything. Curiosity got the better of me and I clicked on the link one of their many texts to see it greyed out and the word closed. Crs are no longer dealing with this account! No doubt some other pond life will turn up soon but in the meantime no more CRS.
  6. It's been a while since I heard from CRS but despite me requesting that they don't use my email address they still opted to send me an email saying they are preparing a file to send to their solicitors to issue a letter of claim because I haven't contacted them. I sent off a CCA to the debt owners at the end of April but again I am awaiting a response. No texts yet. Do I sit and wait and see?
  7. I checked my credit file. And it shows it being to instant cash loans. So, do I use the address given for Instant Cash Loans as they appear to have all but gone for the CCA? I could email the idiots at CRS to ask who currently owns this particular debt as well.
  8. Just got this as an email from them... Now I'm confused as to who to send a new CCA too Thank you for your email, Payments need to be made to CRS, our client still owns this debt. If you need confirmation of this from our client then please contact them. Contact will resume until an arrangement is set up by yourself. Regards,
  9. http://www.mycrs.co.uk/l/FH???? The £1004.61 due to Payday UK is overdue and our Solicitors are due to be instructed. Ref EAGPDB??????? Today's text! Early one today.... Shame they totally ignored my request not to carry on texting me until they sent me a CCA request....
  10. Excellent news for me. As I can use that in any defence should CRS be crazy enough to go further:)
  11. I'm assuming as if all they can send as a CCA was what they sent me in the first post that this doesn't constitute a CCA anyway. So they would come unstuck if they went further as they've not provided the required documentation!
  12. To be honest never thought about complaining. So at the minute it's best to ignore the threatening texts from CRS? I notice they only ever send emails and texts . They never call or use royal mail!
  13. Does this mean I would need to send a new CCA request to CRS? I admit I was under the impression that any debt was sold on to a new collector that they had to let you know lol
  14. Yes I had moved since the time that the loan was taken out but the CCA request came from my current address which both BW Legal and CRS have. It says the client is Payday UK I got another text message an hour ago that says this http://www.mycrs.co.uk/l/?????? It's not too late to stop legal action. Settle the £1004.61 due to Payday UK. Ref EAGPDB??????
  15. Hi, A few years ago I know I took out a few payday loans. However, It seems I may or may not have had one with a company called Payday UK. Last year I started getting letters from BW Legal asking for payment in September last year I sent off a CCA request to see I could shed some light on this debt. However,.that was the last I heard from BW Legal a couple of months back I got a text from CRS asking payment of exactly the same amount as BW Legal. I assume it's a parent company of theirs and it's moved desks. They text virtually every day and I have been ignoring them until they suddenly say they have escalated it to their Legal team for review (and their reference number for this account has changed twice now) Last Friday at work I sent them an email stating that I'm still waiting for my CCA request to be actioned from their sister company BW Legal and to stop sending daily messages. It didn't stop them and on Sunday I sent them another email telling them to stop again and demanded the information I requested. Today I actually got an email response. Thank you for your email Loan ID:231****** Brand Name:Payday UK Original Loan Date :23/06/2016 Original Loan Amt: 650 Interest n charges: 354.61 Paid to Date:0 Employer: ******* And then asking me to set up a payment plan! Surely this isn't what I expected from a CCA request Any suggestions on what to do next? Steve
