  1. Thank you for your suggestion - was thinking same thing about recording. Might actually take a trip at some point during the weekend when I've got a minute.
  2. Thought the same thing, but don't know if there's a point - I believe my dad. What will it accomplish if I'll confirm what my dad is saying?
  3. We already did send an appeal - no response though. Yup, am pretty close to Stansted
  4. He typed his registration number and left his signature in a handheld device, but according to their finance manager there's no such thing at that place, and that's not how their system works. At this point though I think that she doesn't know how parking works at that location, or won't bother to check their records. Or my father is a multidimensional traveler and used their system in some another reality. Should I be worried then? They have their registration number and details. My dad doesn't deny parking there; he did pay though.
  5. Uploaded the notice received. Had to remove some things my mum scribbled on it, with the response to Parking Eye. I also noticed that it does indeed mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012 notice - 231219.pdf
  6. Have asked my parents to scan the notice and will upload it once I get it. Probably saying "pay parking" and "alright to park?" wouldn't be outside his capabilities (he's been living in UK for quite some time now), but longer sentences would be a problem. I didn't really question on how he managed to talk to the receptionist, but since he calls me to translate when he has problems communicating I assume that wasn't an issue.
  7. Hello! My dad has received a Parking Charge Notice from Parking Eye. While he has parked at the place at given day, he did check at the reception if it's possible to park there (he was told it's fine). He had to sign in his name to a handheld device and he paid in cash (£10 for approximately 2h); he wasn't given a receipt. I've called in the reception and was directed to their finance manager, with whom am currently in the middle of conversation. They're claiming that without receipt or bank statement they can't help, that they don't have such tarif for the stay, that their devices don't have option to register the name or signature, nor do they track the time at which customer comes in (so - we're lying because we don't have anything better to do). I was hoping that this would end amiably, but I see from my direction the conversation is going is that the manager is unwilling or unable to help, thus this topic. 1. Date of the infringement - 23/12/2019 2 Date on the NTK - 25/01/2020 3 Date received - 28/12/2019 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? - No 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Yes 6 Have you appealed? Yes Have you had a response? Not yet 7 Who is the parking company? Parking Eye 8. Where exactly? Hampton by Hilton Stansted Airport The fine mentioned is £100, reduced to £60, but my dad parked there twice, so I'm worried that a second fine is coming in. My dad doesn't speak English, so he might be taken advantage of, but the bizarre thing is - why go through all the trouble in making him leave his signature and name in some app that tracks arrivals and departures? Anyhow - can you please tell me what can we do now? As far as we're concerned, if there's CCTVs in the reception there's a proof of my dad paying; he did sign his name into some kind of app at the reception, confirming his stay, even if their finance manager says there's no such option.
