Hi All This is my first post, I came across this website yesterday and wanted a little advice. I have 2 credit card debts in England Virgin money Approx 11K and Barclaycard Approx 3K, I have been paying the minimum payment for a very long time on these cards. The Virgin card was at a 0% deal until my DD to them went unpaid by the bank due to insufficient funds (missed my payment into the bank by 1 day), now they have refused to put me back on the 0% because of this unpaid amount, which I paid them over the phone the following week when I found out it had not been paid. Now the minimum payment has increased by a further 200 quid per month, which will be hard to pay. I have lived in Romania for the last 7 years, I have a house here and do not intend to return to the UK to live. The cards are registered at my mothers address but in my name and they don't have the details of my address in Romania. My question is should I inform them of my address in Romania? Then if I get into trouble with these cards they can not issue a CCJ against me in England, would they chase me in Romania to get this money back? I also don't really want the DCA turning up at my mothers address. Any advice would be great Thanks
