Hello everyone I've been hammered over the last 6 years by HSBC, and my lovely lady wife has had a similar experience with Abbey National. I've downloaded the Data Protection Act forms and will be recording their delivery tomorrow to both institutions to get back the data held by them regarding our illegal charges. Out of interest, does anyone have any advice on the following two points, in order to make this happen as quickly as possible? Who's name or job title should I put on the envelope above the address of the bank? Who should I make the cheques out to? I'm so happy that people are standing up to these institutions, and I'm amazed that the banks are not clamping down on it somehow. Probably becauase they are inept, they certainly are rubbish at customer satisfaction so I cant see why this ineptitiude shoudnt carry through the entire organisation.
