    Gill v MBNA

Hi. I've sent my 14 day letter to MBNA (Abbey CC) requesting a refund of £550. They've just contacted me by phone to say that the FSA have agreed that the charges are unlawful but that £12 is a reasonable fee. Sounds like they're going to try and fob me off with a refund for the difference. Also, they want to apply any refund against the account. Can I request a cheque? He's expecting me to call him back shortly so any advice would be appreciated.
  4. Is there an address I can send a copy of the letter to? I don't have scanning facilities but am more than happy to share. If I don't reply, won't they just use that as an excuse not to provide me with the information ie. we wrote to you on... blah blah blah but have received no response...
  5. Hi I've just received a letter from my Lloyds TSB branch manager asking me to tell him what I mean by manual intervention. Is there a standard definition that I can use here?
