  2. Hi there, we have switched from E.ON, from paying £80.00 monthly (!!) to EDF to a lower tariff. Our final bill with E.ON is apparently £349.81! I don't understand how they want that much from us when we already gave (wasted on) them £80.00 for the previous 2 years! I called and the customer service assistant was very matter of fact, and told me because that's how much we've used already this year. I told him that we have switched and to a lower tariff and he advised me to give regular meter readings. (almost mocking me) I honestly don't believe we owe this much in our final bill. I did just call them to make a monthly standing order to pay it off now, but something doesn't feel right. We didn't give regular meter readings so there is no proof. But what shall I do. I feel like now we've switched to a lower tariff/company, we still have to pay the same amount basically for the next 7 months! The whole point was to escape high fees!
