Hi all, I am about to send my letters to First Direct, but I wanted to ask a question. Do Overdraft Fees (as opposed to Excess Overdraft Fees) count as something I can claim for? Looking back at my six years of banking history (how weird is it!), there are more Overdraft Fees than excess overdraft fees. Would appreciate some feedback. many thanks Kirsty

Hi there, I think I'm a bit overwhelmed by all this! I have requested my statements (which I got for free). I have four accounts with FD and over the last 6 years have been charged in total £1128. No wonder I never have any money! However, where do I go from here. I'm finding navigating the site a bit confusing - I'm a bit new at this. Do I calculate the interest and then send the bank a letter including the list of charges I want repaying?? All help gratefully accepted. Thanks Kirsty
