Correct, But as the settled date is same as the default date do I have any grounds that I could dispute this with Equifax? Perhaps saying that I settled the account on the day they issued a default and it's a mistake by BT? clutching at straws here but I would like to give it a shot. What you see in the attached picture is what I see.

Hi thanks for your reply, From memory it was BT Landline which was switched over to Sky Talk but didn't seem to get cancelled on BT's side. I don't remember receiving any letters from BT but I may be wrong (4 years ago now) But I did receive a letter from DCA and I paid it off. I was expecting to see it say settled last year which was when I paid it but it has the same date as the default. Anyway this could work in my favour and I could get it removed?

Hi, BT have put a default on my Credit file on 23/03/2010. Yet it shows settled on the same day 23/03/2010 How can I Default & settle on the same day?
