Thank you for prompt reply,. i had a letter from dwp stating i had had an overpayment from 5/5/2012 until 21/1/2013 approx £2700 i called dwp they will not discuss the matter at all, but i must appeal. as far as i believe i have not been overpaid.... but a decision maker says i have ? just don't know what to do or say? dwp were aware of all monies in my account, my income etc

hi, can anybody help me with an appeals letter for the dwp regarding a £2700 overpayment? I have a solicitor who says i need to appeal but i am unsure how to proceed? many thanks
