  1. Hello All. I am new on here. Could I please have some advise on this. Or be directed to a thread that I may have missed please.I have been trawling through the Forum in hope that I can get some advise on this PPI issue. However have not seen a 'complete thread' on this. Most have started on the same situation but seem to have fallen quiet. Case so far: I made a claim to Nationwide for PPI 8 weeks ago. During this time I was called by an advisor and asked afew questions about the time I took the ppi cover etc. I had two PPI claims:1 - Credit Card - Refused on the bases that there was no staff involvement and that It was my choice.2 - Loan - Single PPI premium added to the loan amount. - This has been refused on the basis that it was sold on a Non-advisory basis and that I should have made decision on whether or not it was suitable for me. Circumstances at the time where: Working for Local Government with sickness benefit 6 months full and 6months half. Plus redundancy package. Age 24 years of absolute good health etc. Apparently it was not for them to decide but me. However they still offered it and at the time I feel I was coaxed into it. ie what would happen after the 12 months etc. They also say that had I made a claim they would have paid out even if I was on sickness pay etc They also say that as they are a memeber driven society they have a very strict selling code .... response was 4 pages long! Questions: - Do I stand any chance on Credit card PPI? - Do I stand any chance on Loan PPI- in both cases should I appeal their decision? and if so, do I go straight to Ombudsman or excalate with Nationwide again?Help much appreciated.
