I don't have all paperwork but do have all account details and know how much I have paid. I took out in 2001 and paid ever since. I definitely took it out via alliance and leicester. Thanks for all your guidance it is truly appreciated. J

Sorry it's a single seperate Dd to mortgage which I closed with alliance n Leicester a while ago.

Alliance and Leicester branch sold it when taking mortgage, I thought it was alliance and Leicester product as was branded as such now understand pinnacle hold the policy.

Is like to try and reclaim the ppi, I was told at time of taking it would reduce risk to building society and so improve my chances of getting the mortgage. I get 6 months full and 6 months half pay through work and had an illness at time which I now understand wouldn't have been covered by. Do I have a chance of winning and how would I go about claiming. Many Thanks J

Hi, If I took out mortgage and ppi through alliance and Leicester and mortgage is now closed but poi still going who do I write to alliance and Leicester or Cardiff pinnacle? Thanks J
