  1. I definitely will keep all correspondence Just incase they pop up again in 6-12 months time with Interest and extra charges. Thanks guys xx
  2. Managed to leave a message on landowners number - anyway they rang me and I told them the Problem. I’ve just received an email to say they have cancelled the parking charge. so many thanks to you all for taking the time to advise because until you guys responded I was just going to pay it to have it over with - glad I stood my ground with your advice. Thank you Caggers One happy lady here today xx
  3. There was a concierge he gave the keys to the agent - he was watching us on cctv all the time - I know this because on the way out he mentioned to the agent that he shouldn’t of let us walk around the community space and should just stood at the door and looked due to measurements they had in place for covid. I've got pictures of all correspondence but it won’t let me attach them
  4. The estate agent who managing the letting is Jullian Wadden but i do know Bridgfords are managing lets there too. I wonder if they let views know about the parking beforehand?
  5. Just want to say thankyou for all that have posted with advice - it’s very much appreciated. I’ve rung the letting agent to be told to contact the apartment block as there’s nothing they can do - I asked for land owners number (no answer on that number) so left a message and number. I will at some point on Friday go there photo the signage and enquire. I’ll keep this post up to speed - fingers crossed! It’s now the principle and not the money they want that is bothering me! Thanks all again
  6. I do need to go and check the signage- but just presumed it was saying only for use of fabrick block - the residents actually have barrier parking round back and side of apartments - which is one of the reasons they didn’t take the apartment as residents parking is £50 per month per car and they both have cars! We would be on the inside camera footage and the guy on reception gave the letting agent the keys - nothing mentioned about parking on the front - I did notice thought that the letting agent had a pass for the barrier Resident parking.
  7. yes they had a few of it parked and me driving away - they’ve done exactly the same to my daughters boyfriend who also parked in the visitor bay
  8. I bet there’s loads like me that think I may as well just pay it so it’s done with. But I’m more furious that I was actually visiting the place - I hadn’t parked there and gone somewhere else - there’s a free car park round the corner so I’d of used that if I was visiting else where!! Like how many people are they actually ripping off Day in day out / if I had done wrong on purpose then I’d just hold my hands up and admit it!

One Parking Solutions 8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] Fabrick Apartments, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under. POPLA I have pictures of the notice and appeals but it won’t let me upload
  10. Just had a fine from OPS for parking on a visitors bay at some apartments we were viewing with my daughter. The estate agent nor the man on desk asked for my reg or said anything about where I was parked - I feel totally conned! Sent an appeal with the confirmation of viewing with estate agent and was deemed unacceptable - although first letter was a fine for £100 which is now £60 if I pay within 2 weeks
  11. Can I add that the extra care plan that I had for the ps3 was a one upfront payment of around £50 for the year so I know that it has no connection. Thanks xx
  12. Been reading everyone's posts and only looked this up because last month I was sent a policy update for extra care 500!!! I had noticed a few months ago that I was paying an insurance thing on my account and realised it was £17 of my monthly payment :-/ but because I've had a lot on I never chased it up.....anyway I had to call them tonight and I queried it. I told them I had noticed it on my account but I didn't need it......I was aware that I took a extra care plan for a year out when I bought a ps3 around 2-3 yrs ago but when they wanted me to re-new it I declined......so I know it has nothing to do with that!! I've got 2 accounts with littlewoods and only get charged the insurance on one......and it seems to the one which had for many many year so god knows how long I've been paying it. I'm not good at complaining and normally put things down to experience and cut my losses ....but they ask me to call the office Monday and they will just cancel it for me. Suppose my question is, is it really worth pursuing??? Please advise as I've never complained or asked for a refund in my life.....thanks in advance xx
