  1. hi, to my horror i recently received a debt recovery letter from DCA, this is my story! i had £600 overdraft limit with royal bank of scotland, which was being covered with my monthly salary, therefor overdraft was always availible to me! however on 1 particular month they decided (for reasons unknown to me) that the overdraft facility would stop! after telling me there was no limit of time on this! so i contacted the bank who admitted it was an error and promptly put its back on the next day! HOWEVER!!! with overdraft being covered by my salary, i maent there was a short fall and my direct debits were then rendered unpaid! due to the bank error! the bank then refused to refund the charges that would be applied to my account! thus i took my business elsewhere! i then moved address and opened up a new account with another bank! and left the royal owing them a £600 overdraft! this was around 2 to 3 years ago and the now my parens received this letter from the DCA to advise that they acting on bahlaf of the royal bank of scotland and that i owe £1300, now if it was £600 i would have made arrangmetns to pay this off, but £1300, they must be having a laugh! can anyone please help me on this! what letter will i send to them! your help would be greatly appreciated
