  1. Gary, Can you tell me if all this information is suitable to use in a court bundle for a business claim? Including the witness statement. Many thanks for your tireless work!! Deb.
  2. Hi craigamc, I did stick to my timetable as advised and Bank of Scotland paid in full not long after I had filed my Moneyclaim Online - I'm working on the credit cards now! Good luck with all of yours. Deb.
  3. Hi again, I've just been reading the forums and I realise now that the maximum you can claim is £750 at a time in Scotland. I am in England and so the limit is £5,000. Have a look here if you haven't already and maybe post your query here to get the right advice. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/scotland/ Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck with your claim Deb
  4. Hi Lesleya I think I'm missing something - why are you making 7 claims? Or do you mean 7 different claims? I only made one claim against BOS for all my charges together and that was done in the usual 3 stages (Pre-Lim, LBA and then filed at court via Money Claim On-line). Although they acknowledged the claim - which technically gave them a further 28 days to file a defence - they decided to cough up fairly quickly. Maybe it works differently in Scotland?? I'm not sure.
  5. Hi Lesleya Not sure what you mean Have you just started the process (DPA / SAR letter) or are you already at the court stage? I had to go through the whole process but was lucky that BOS decided to settle very soon after I had filed my MCOL. In all it took just under 3 months from start to finish.
  6. Thank you so much for replying Michael Greatly appreciated
  7. Was wondering if some kind soul could please tell me the absolute definitive correct address for Marbles? I am trying to file my MCOL and have spent the last hour reading the forums and getting conflicting information. I have tried entering the registered address North Street, Winkfield, Windsor, SL4 4TD and the postcode is not recognised. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP :-?
  8. Hi Davyno1 I had filed my 'Moneyclaim' and within approx 2 weeks had a letter from BOS offering full refund with interest and costs, with usual "not liable - goodwill" spiel BOS had already replied to court to say that they were going to defend, but then backed down at the last minute. I did not get an offer but I know others that have and they rejected and held out for the full amount and GOT IT! Stick with it and Good Luck.
  9. Just to say what a great site and thanks to everyone on here. My claim against Bank of Scotland (current account) has recently been settled in full (£3492) I have made a small donation - sorry it couldnt be more but have recently paid off 5 figures worth of debt. Now on to the credit cards .....
  10. Sorry if this has been answered somewhere - I have looked! Can anyone tell me which address to send DPA/SAR request for statements for a Lloyds business account and is the maximum fee still £10 ?
  11. Thanks, I will send the follow-up letter after the 14 day time limit. fingers crossed.
  12. I had sent my request for repayment of charges to the Bank of Scotland. Giving them 14 days to pay. They have responded with a letter saying they will investigate and receive a reply no later than 4 weeks. My question is, do i allow them the 4 weeks or do i stick to my original 14 day response time before the next step? Thanks in advance
  13. Thanks for your reply Dolly. I'll do some investigating. The thought of being able to claim back redemption penalties (approx £5,000 to date) makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
  14. Just sending my LBA today to BOS and wanted to say thanks to everyone on this site. I have no idea if I'm doing this properly - it's my first time so be gentle! Can anyone tell me or point me in right direction to information regarding business accounts. Can unfair charges be claimed back? Also what about early redemption penalties on loans and mortgages??? Thanks again.
