  1. No I don't I threw the copies so that my partner would not find them. What strikes me as odd is the way Blackhorse repaid the PPI as I made it clear that it was added fraudulently. They did not contest this at all. Thanks anyway.
  2. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. In 2004/2005 I borrowed £5k off Blackhorse over three weeks. 1K week 1, 1k week 2 and 3k in week 3 (advised to borrow more I was after another thousand). The money I borrowed was an attempt to recoup my losses through gambling (pathological gambler at the time). My financial affairs were precarious to say the least and no real checks were taken to establish affordability. In June 2005 I began paying my creditors back through CCCS and so far paid over £8k back to 4 creditors and expect to be clear in 4 years. I know I have been irresponsible but I feel that Blackhorse and others have also been irresponsible. My issue with Blackhorse is that they have played around with the interest and have made the account more attractive to sell on - they have increased the interest charged 4 fold and assigned the account to Marlin (probably for peanuts). Out of the blue I received a letter from Blackhorse stating that my account has been reviewed and that they wanted to know if I wanted to make a PPI claim. This was a surprise to me as I did not want it in the first place, I filled the form and said that the PPI had been added fraudulently and wanted the money back. They agreed and are refunding £870, (they wanted to give it to Marlin originally but I refused) does this make the original CCA null and void?
