  1. PC crash course completed and passed! Please find NTK & car park pics. At last. Aytoun St NTK and pics.pdf
  2. Apart from doing a course in basic computing, what are my options as the 14 days is nearly up. Should I go for a 'soft' appeal and then a robust appeal to the BPA? If that fails, ignore the DCA's? Sorry for the uploading fiasco, folks. (silver surfer here)
  3. Sorry folks! Thought I was going mad there. I was using my laptop and for some reason, the CAG site was in a different format. Here are the pics from the carpark Next two
  4. I drove back to Manchester and took pics of the car park. Hmmm, quick question - how do I upload photos on here as I can't see an attachment icon.
  5. On the NTK, the wording is 'the P&D/permit purchased did not cover the date and time of parking'. Correct me if I am wrong - does that mean there is a loophole as it does not state the above on the ticket machine if the wording hasn't changed from the older Aytoun Street thread? Unfortunately I live in the sticks and not much chance of returning for pics. Thanks for amending the NTK, Dx. Cheers.
  6. JoeyJoeyC, I paid for a ticket which I displayed on the windscreen but was invalid as I overstayed by 2 hours.
  7. I overstayed at the above carpark by 2 hours and received a NTK yesterday with a £100 parking charge reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days which is totally disproportionate to the length of stay. 1 Date of the infringement 12.1.19 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] 18.1.19 3 Date received 21.1.19 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? Yes 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Yes, two small pics of my license plates with entry & exit times. 6 Have you appeale
  8. Thanks, Bankfodder. I have informed my insurance company a few days ago. What makes it worse it that there is a family next door to the neighbour who have 2 vans ( one broken down for about 4 months in front of her house) and 3 or 4 cars. They park outside everyone's house in the vicinity but the problem is the vans block peoples views when they are reversing onto the road, especially is a few feet from a drive. The guy living on my right parks on the footpath, even though he has a drive, to stop them parking outside his. My view was blocked by a van when I had the bump. Grrrr. Mt t
  9. About 2 weeks ago I reversed my car out of my drive and gently made contact my opposite neighbours 17 reg Hyundai on the front/left bumper . She had parked directly across her drive due a skip. I had a quick look, noticing 2 very minor scuff marks, knocked on her door, explained and asked her to fix it and I would pay for the damage, thinking the bill would be £75 - £100 tops. Neighbour returns a few days later with an written estimate, not a quote, from a local authorised Hyundai garage for £475. She explained the car is under warranty and it has to be repaired by them or t
  10. I work for a small independent L.A. in the North West and use a company called Uktenantdata who perform credit checks for our clients. The Immigration Act 2014 do not apply to tenants who move in to a property before 1.2.16 and anyone who intends to move in after that date is charged £16.50 to get their passport 'validated' by them. Our credit check fees remain the same and we have to explain the extra fee to the clients. The validation process applies to everyone, by the way, even if you were born in Britain and have held a British passport for most of your life. I think that is very
