Interesting thread and some great advice.I have recently had my SAR returned to me right on the 40 days limit and sent by regular mail to an overseas address. Predictable but also infuriating giving me more reason to pursue RBS and yes, use the legal system for that purpose.RBS have requested additional information before they can pursue any action:"Our records show this account requires two to sign. Please provide autorisation from the other signatory on the account" and"The address on the letter differs from the one we hold on record. PLease update .....".I will have problems getting my estranged wife to countersign any SAR as the main reason for the information is to prove her actions in respect of the account. RBS are very aware of the situation between my ex-wife and myself. Does a SAR require the signatures of both persons to a joint account ?
