Just tried to claim on my Platinum policy , engine warning light on a MB cls turns out the stepper motor above the inlet manifold was faulty but guess what not covered it is not a listed component which is true but it is a major component , I asked what other parts are not included and was told to read the policy I asked how was I to make a decision if the policy was worth the money unless I strripped the whole car down and asked if every part was included not being a mechanic . I will be talking to trading standards and the AA in the morning .
