Hi all, I have been working for a company in the health care sector for 12 years. I started out as a controller and during my time there made my way upto managment. When I first started with the company I made it very clear that I had a criminal record and never tried to shy away from this. in 2011 I done another C.R.B form and never thought anything of it, when I returned from holiday my manager told me that the directors were looking to use this to get rid of me. He then stated that it was ok he had sorted it. This Friday my manager told me that there was a compromise agreement form that I should read and seek legal advice. My question is can they just use this after all that time (my life is in tatters). Surley there has to be a reaosnable amount of time that passes in employment before this can be questioned (otherwise whats the point). I dont feel this was the real reason to getting rid of me they had this form in front of them for over a year. And I had been complaining about my work load and that is why they got rid of me. Any comments or help will be much appreciated.
